Author Guidelines
Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below before submitting manuscripts to AgroLife Frontiers. Manuscripts that do not comply with these instructions may be returned for revision.
- Manuscripts must be written in English and prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx format only). Submissions in PDF or other formats will not be accepted.
- The recommended length of the manuscript is 6–7 pages, including the abstract (100–150 words with 4–5 keywords), which is approximately 2,000 words. Articles requiring additional detail may be accepted up to 10 pages (approximately 2,500 words), subject to editorial approval.
- The manuscript should be typed in Times New Roman font using 1.5 line spacing, with 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides.
- The title of the article should be concise and clearly reflect the content. It must be formatted in 14-point, bold Times New Roman and written in sentence case.
- Author name(s) and institutional affiliation(s) should appear immediately below the title in 12-point Times New Roman.
- All authors’ email addresses, including the corresponding author’s email address, must be provided after the affiliations and written in 11-point, bold Times New Roman font. The corresponding author should be indicated by an asterisk (*) in the authors’ list.
- The main text should be formatted in 12-point Times New Roman: Main headings: 14-point, bold, sentence case, Subheadings: 12-point, bold, sentence case
- A maximum of four (4) authors is permitted per manuscript. For manuscripts with more than four authors, an additional charge of Rs. 50/- per extra author will be applicable.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is complete, accurate and free from errors at the time of submission. No changes will be permitted after acceptance.
- All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list and all works listed in the reference section must be cited in the text. Manuscripts should follow APA (7th edition) style for in-text citations and all references must be listed at the end of the manuscript (with DOI) under the heading “References”.
- The reference list should be arranged alphabetically by the last name of the first author and APA 7th edition formatting should be applied consistently throughout the manuscript.
- Manuscripts should be written in clear, simple and concise language, providing sufficient detail relevant to the topic for a multidisciplinary audience.
- All tables, figures and illustrations must be properly numbered, titled and cited within the text.
- Submission of a manuscript implies that it has not been published previously or submitted elsewhere and that all authors have approved the final version.
- All manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism. Submitted articles may be screened using plagiarism-detection software and the plagiarism level should not exceed 15%. Otherwise, author is solely responsible for plagiarism issues in their article.
- Authors are required to submit a duly completed and signed Author Agreement Form (available in the download section) confirming that the submitted manuscript is original and free from plagiarism or any form of unethical practice. Manuscripts submitted without this form will not be considered for publication.
- In the case of manuscripts submitted under subscription-cum-membership, the member is required to be the first author.
- Manuscripts can be submitted directly through the Submission section of the website or authors may also submit their manuscripts via email to editor@agrolifefrontiers.in
Note: Submission of a manuscript to AgroLife Frontiers constitutes a declaration by the author(s) that the work is original, has not been published previously, is not under consideration elsewhere, and will not be submitted to any other journal, magazine, or publication during the review and publication process. All listed authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission. Any violation of this policy, including duplicate submission, simultaneous submission, duplicate publication, or misrepresentation of authorship, shall be regarded as a serious breach of publication ethics and academic integrity. Such misconduct may result in immediate rejection or withdrawal of the manuscript, cancellation of publication, forfeiture of publication fees, temporary or permanent blacklisting of the author(s) from AgroLife Frontiers, and notification to the concerned institution(s), supervisor(s), funding agency(ies), or publisher(s), where deemed necessary. Authors found guilty of such misconduct may also be required to pay administrative penalties as determined by the Editorial Board. The decision of the Editorial Board shall be final and binding.
